On 14 January 2002 National Broadcasting Council (NBC) adopted a new broad draft of amendments to the Broadcasting Act of 29 December 1992 (with later amendments). On 11 October 2001 the President of the Republic of Poland signed the Act on Electronic Signatures adopted by Parliament on 18 September 2001.
