On 6 January 2005 the Polish Parliament adopted the Act on National and Ethnic Minorities and on Regional Language. Subsequently, on the following day the Act was sent to the President for signature. On 5 June 1970 a Co-Production Agreement was signed between France and Poland. It entered into force on 28 October 1970. The Agreement applies to cinematographic works made by French directors, technicians, and actors, in conjunction with Polish directors, technicians, and actors; sufficing also them having the status of resident in the respective country. The legal framework for broadcasting activities consists of more than only the Broadcasting Act. There are e.g. regulations issued by the National Broadcasting Council, the Press Law, and some other specific provisions.
