On 18 July 2014, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg formally ratified and implemented the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime, as well as its Additional Protocol concerning the criminalisation of acts of a racist and xenophobic nature committed through computer systems. IRIS 2014-1:1/12 [CH] New Agreement on Cinematographic Coproduction with Luxembourg

As part of the bilateral discussions held during the 64th Cannes Festival, Switzerland and Luxembourg signed a new agreement on cinematographic coproduction on 15 May 2011. The agreement, which entered into force on 1 August 2013, provides an official framework for audiovisual projects involving Swiss and Luxembourgish partners. IRIS 2013-10:1/32 [LU] Act on the Creation of a New Media Authority

On 27 August 2013 the Loi du 27 août 2013 portant création de l’établissement public “Autorité luxembourgeoise indépendante de l’audiovisuel” (Law of 27 August 2013 on the creation of the Independent Audiovisual Authority of Luxembourg, ALIA law) was formally adopted by the Grand-Duke of Luxembourg.
