On 10 September 1997 a Co-Production Agreement was signed between Italy and Spain. It entered into force on 3 June 1998, replacing the precedent Agreement of 5 November 1966. On 6 November 2000, a Co-Production Agreement was signed between France and Italy. It entered into force on 1 July 2003. The Agreement applies to cinematographic works of any length and on all mediums, irrespective of their genre (feature, animation, documentary). On 23 September 1999 a Co-Production Agreement has been signed between Germany and Italy. It entered into force on 5 November 2002, replacing the preceding German-Italian agreement of 27 July 1966.
