On 19 September 1997 a Co-Production Agreement was signed between Italy and Portugal. The Agreement applies to all cinematographic works (feature films, animation, documentaries) irrespective of their length or medium. Producers from third countries that are linked to either Italy or Portugal by a co-production agreement can join the co-production. On 21 January 1982 a Co-Production Agreement was signed between Italy and Hungary. It entered into force on 2 November 1984. The Agreement applies to feature films, animated films and documentaries. On 25 March 1968 a Co-Production Agreement was signed between Italy and Czechoslovakia. It entered into force on the same day. After the dissolution of the ČSSR, the Agreement is upheld between Italy the Czech Republic as the Successor State.
