On 7 December 2004 the National Communications Authority (“Authority") closed the procedure for three of the four frequency blocks (Blocks A - D) offered at the UMTS (3G) mobile telephone service tender invited on 31 August 2004 (See IRIS 2005-1: 16). Five service providers submitted their applications by the deadline of 2 November 2004 in accordance with the tender procedure initiated by the Nemzeti Hírközlési Hatóság (National Communications Authority, NHH) for the license of radio frequency bands that can be used for the provision of third generation mobile communication services (UMTS) (see IRIS 2004-9: 11). On 21 January 1982 a Co-Production Agreement was signed between Italy and Hungary. It entered into force on 2 November 1984. The Agreement applies to feature films, animated films and documentaries. Producers from third countries linked to both Italy and Hungary by co-production agreements can join the co-production. Financial participation shall be at least 30% of the total cost of the film, even in the case of multilateral co-productions. On 17 February 1970, a Co-Production Agreement was signed between France and Hungary. It entered into force on 26 August 1970.
