IRIS 2004-10:1/60 [FR-GR] Films Co-Production Agreement between France and Greece

On 20 October 1973 a Co-Production Agreement was signed between France and Greece. It entered into force on 19 January 1978. The Agreement applies to cinematographic works (full-length as well as short films) made by one or more French (or resident in France) producers together with one or more Greek (or resident in Greece) producers. The institution of a General Secretariat for Communications with responsibility for audiovisual matters in place of the present Ministry for the Press and the Mass Media, which is now abolished, constitutes a significant structural change made by the Greek Government put in place by the legislative elections held on 7 March. IRIS 2004-6:1/8 European Commission: 6 Member States Referred to Court of Justice over Electronic Communications Framework

On 21 April 2004, the European Commission announced its decision to refer to the European Court of Justice the six Member States that had still not fully implemented the new regulatory framework for electronic communications into their national law (i.e. Belgium, Germany, Greece, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands).
